Newly designed for 2012, Nordica Jet Fuel is an awesome ski for the advanced or expert skier who insists on skiing the entire mountain every day. Nordica I-Core is a full length wood core that is 20% lighter than years past, and makes the ski easier handling in variable snow conditions. 84mm underfoot and a 17m turn radius give the Jet Fuel the ability to make powerful medium to long radius turn over any terrain at medium, to fast, to even faster speeds.
Nordica has committed to traditional camber for their Hot Rod series. They contend it provides more power and snap. All Mountain Sidecut (a round radius) increases the ability for the Jet Fuel to fly through nasty snow conditions.
Full vertical sidewalls and the Full Twin V Active Core give this speedster all of the stability, torsional rigidity, and power without being too heavy. Nordica N Pro 2S XBi binding system gives the ski a nice even flex, and evenly distributes pressure from the tip to the tail of the ski keeping you better balanced on you skis for more control. The Jet Fuel has the unique ability to be powerful, damp, and playful all at once for the advanced or expert skier who absolutely goes all over the mountain, then skis right into the lodge for dinner.
